Contemporary Ikebana
workshop

£65

Join our contemporary Ikebana style workshop to unwind, connect with nature, and learn about a timeless art form.

Originated in the 6th century, when Buddhist monks created floral offerings for altars, Ikebana emphasizes on seasonality, simplicity, and a meditative approach to arranging flowers in harmony with nature.

This workshop invites you to step away from the demands of daily life and embrace the soothing practice of mindful design.  Under the guidance of Julia Figarola, a visual and floral artist from Barcelona, you’ll discover the fundamental principles and techniques of Ikebana, incorporating a contemporary and modern twist to it. You'll then have the opportunity to explore the flower farm, selecting the blooms and branches that resonate with you. Once your floral piece is finished, you get to take it home, including a ceramic bowl and a pin frog.

With an approximate duration of 2h30, is great for anyone who loves flowers, with no experience needed, for any kind of events; from team-building, birthdays, hen parties, or a simply calming  break.
